ok....lets see....Update?
well I have done nothing remarkably great in a while, and I havent posted so I'll just do some quick updates
I was on Allstate piccolo, but I was also alternate flute and someone dropped out, so I got the spot. I was a blue band flute. My stand partner was so much fun, but ither than that, the honor band wasnt that great. The method we used to practice our music, and the music itself was degrading to a band of such talent. The first chair flute had a solo in 6/8 and she sucked at reading 6/8 and the first chair oboe messed up her solo, but they were the only messups I saw. We played El Capitan by sousa, Third Suite by Jager, Irish tine by Grainger but edited but my director name Mr. Jones (he added in a singing part that sounded amazing), and Kirkpatrick Fanfare by Boysen. Well enough on that, but Katie got my piccolo spot I dropped out of and ended up making red band flute which is amazing, and I am happy for her because she seems to have the worst of luck, and she deserved to get an awesome treat for once.
About two weeks ago, Hello Dolly, the muscical was performed at my school, and I got to play in the orchestra, Katie was in it but missed two nights of practice due to an overload of work, anyways She got kicked off. The musical however was sooooo good, and the lead, Caitlin Custer has an Amazing voice. also liked the fact that the flutes played alot.
Just last Sunday, I was confirmed into my church, which basically means that I am an adult member of the church now, so thats cool. The Bishop was there and he is quite a character in some ways, meaning, he can be funny...
On another note (haha band humor...) Me and Katie got the title of section leader, so thats..cool i guess.
JSU honor band starts tomorrow, and The middle school concert is also tomorrow, and our spring concert is Monday...
