Spent much of the weekend touring showhouses for the local Parade of Homes- I have to say that even though someone buys a house for 2.9 million doesn't guarantee that it is well-carfted! That's pretty sad. Now I can completely see when someone hasn't hired a skilled designer- some of these hosues were so jacked. There are some horrible tile installers in this state for one. Oh it was bad. Plus the absolute lack of color inspiration or variety of styles or even personal style is pathetic. ugh. I did see some very beautiful marbles and diamond finish walls so all hope isn't lost. Still I think I am moving more and more into the commercial realm every day! yesterday at a party I was able to get 3 more potential clients who are not interested in that rustic hell look and want my help. This is when everything seems so worthwhile- how fun!
