Honest, I went looking for a Christmas /Winter themed image to make into an icon to use for December
I am weak **hangs head** I fail at holiday spirit (explanation to follow*)
Instead I found this lovely photo of Liz by the photographer Richard Avendon (he photographed some of the most famous hollywood ladies. And for some reason he loved photographing women in ball gowns next to Elephants. He is the The Win IMO)

July is about as far from December spirit as one can get
Why is it that I love Liz Taylor so much?
Because this photo reminds me so very much of how my mother looked throughout the 1980s ~~ my mother was often told by her nail salon clients that she reminded them of quote A kinder gentler Alexis Carrington ** LOL **
