IT PEOPLE!!!
I need your help/advice with a problem we’re having at my work…

One of our educational kits has an interactive CD-rom as one if its components. This CD-rom is now somewhat out of date (we’ve rebranded, and it’s just generally a number years, since it was produced). The original files used to create the CD-rom are gone - hooray for our brilliant IT department, who erased the hard-drive it was all stored on without checking whether the info was still needed, or god-forbid thinking to create a back-up of any of it *sighs*

So yeah, we’re needing to update and reproduce this item and all we have is the final CD-rom to work from. I’ve no idea how hard it would be, or even if it is in fact possible, to extract the info from the CD-rom to work with it. Or is our only option to recreate from scratch?

Also, do you happen to know anyone who could potentially do whatever “this” ends up being for us? This would be fully paid work legitimate of course - not asking for favours… But also keeping in mind I do work for a charity, so am also looking for the most cost-effective solution…
