Bookmarks ;_;
I got my laptop reinstalled today. And (finally) installed a new original antivirus too. Apparently the damage was too heavy that a mere antivirus wasn't enough bcause some of the applications kept on getting error warning so the store owner suggested to reinstall it. And did I mention for these past few days I couldn't access the internet, like, at all? So my only choice is to use the desktop, but it sucks. Hard. Everything I need is in my laptop.
It had happened for a few times, like 4 - 5 times, usually because of IDM. I dont know why but IDM keeps messing up with my browsers. But if something like this happened, all I have to do is uninstall the IDM and then my browser, my beloved firefox, would work again. For this time, I had done everything (according to my inexperience knowledge about computer and internet) until I nearly cried and begged for it, but the browsers, both firefox and IE, just wouldn't work. At all. At all.
Even after the antivirus had been installed, the errors kept occuring. It had to be reinstalled, and I just agreed. Anything it takes for my laptop to work again. I just have to pick it up from the store tomorrow. So tonight I'm laptopless, more like entertainmentless, and maybe finally I can sleep earlier.
On the way home, something struck me.
Bookmarks.
I have had tons of bookmarks in both my firefox & IE. And It'd be gone by tomorrow.
Gone. As per nothing will be left.
I almost cried. The Youtube watchlist, blogwalking list, and even the download list that's probably longer than my real life wish list are gone. I can't even remember how many folders I had in bookmarks.

And one thing that still intrigued me, how the hell my laptop got viruses that was so damaging it even needed to get reinstalled??! I tried to look back and recollect sites I used to go, it's always Yahoo mail, twitter, youtube, and LJ communities. I only downloaded stuff from Indowebster and mediafire, or MU. And please, I never go to porn sites. Besides, who needs porn when I have fandom to entertain me? *hails Kpop and JE*
Or maybe, the store owner tricked me. Maybe It didn't even have to get reinstalled.
People in despair tend to have bad thoughts, I guess.
