I love my yard. But did not count on mowing problems. We inherited a riding mower which needed new belts. Took Tom a while to get help to put them on. Got them on with a new tire and found out the transmission is shot. I have been working on the lawn (1.5 acres) a piece at a time with the gas push mower and it's almost too long to get through with it in the places I haven't hit yet. Tonight I hit a pipe with the mower and f&cked the whole thing. It won't mow anymore. Ever.
And the lawn is growing before my very eyes. I don't have $500 for a used rider, but that's what I need to come up with this week. And this is the bad week of the month financially. I'm sure there's a lesson in here someplace.
