gray 4th!
It's rainy here. Soren put together a craft sale - made a sign and we made red, white and blue juice (berry, lemonade and frost gatorade) and she made rw&b barrettes to sell, and had face painting ready to do. She also made some star "dream catchers" from sticks and yarn that were really cool.
Sadly, it rained all day so far and we sat on the porch and had one customer :(. She finally gave up after 4 hours and cried. I felt so badly for her. We had fun though, just hanging out and talking about the crafts and stuff.
David came over and hung out for a couple of hours which was nice. I've been very isolated lately. With Emma gone and July 4th break, we've been housebound with nothing much to do. I haven't been able to manage playgroup in the mornings as it hits at Lucy's naptime. Anyway, it was nice. We chatted about me going to school and I talked to him about the ministry. He was very supportive and thought it was a great idea. Always nice to get his opinion since he knows me well.
Anyway, Jude won't nap so I'm sitting here with sleeping Lucy on my lap playing a game. I'm too tired to try to write anything unfortunately. Soren and Jude are watching Elf downstairs ;) She is cheering herself up with a funny movie, which is a great idea IMO!
