What I Saw: Mad Men Miscellaneous
Just making a few observations about Mad Men.
Here is Bobby 3 or 4. He is now on Once Upon a Time. He was a better actor on Mad Men.
I think that he got the new gig during the long Mad Men hiatus between seasons 4 and 5.
Peggy got her Five-O to protect her and her apartment.
I think that she'll name the cat "McGarret" if it is a boy or "Chin Ho" if it is a girl.
I thought that Peggy was allergic to cats.
But I guess that she is getting allergy shots. They are better than gun shots. Or maimed and bloody boyfriends and mice.
I don't think that Peggy will be wearing much black in the future. If she does, she will be needing Don's and Roger's clothes brush or a lot of duct tape. Abe probably left a lot of duct tape behind when he left. I did notice that the spear that Peggy stabbed Abe with was fashioned with duct tape.

After Don the Dick's chat with Sally about his "comforting" super powers, Don went back to his room like a bad little boy. Oddly enough, Sally was not comforted by Don the Dick's chat with her.
What I noticed about the shot were the claustrophobic walls closing in on Don. And it was very reminiscent of Ozu's scenes and shots for his classic domestic dramas of the 1950s and 1960s. If you have never seen any of Ozu's films, you must at least see Late Spring or Tokyo Story. They are beautiful tales of families. Don could learn a thing or two about fathers and daughters from Late Spring.
And now to beat the summer heat and the "why am I such a jerk?" blues, let's all go swimming.
