I hate fireworks
Hate them. Even more when some moron is setting them off in the middle of the night. Hello, state-wide fireworks ban?
And it appears that Justin's single didn't drop yesterday. I couldn't imagine that they would debut a new single on the 4th of July - you lose the whole drive-time exposure. A lot of stations don't even have djs in on the holiday - they just run 'best of' tapes. But the real debut - presuming it doesn't get pushed back - is less than a week away!
I'm also optimistic upon hearing that JC's new album will be more guitar-based. I like electronica, but not when a synthesiser is used to mimic another instrument, and that's been a criticism of his music since he was writing for NSync.
I was perusing my friend-of-friends list and saw a suggestion that JC should incorporate some of NSync's songs into his live set, as Justin's done. Some songs wouldn't work because they need the harmonies, and I don't want to hear a bunch of back-up singers trying to do what our boys did so much better than anyone else. I know he did the bridge from 'The Game is Over' last time around, and I think that's one that would work for him as a solo singer.
