Common sense

Monday, my allergies were enforcing their strenght. I am working PT at a local Michael's crafts store with the sniffles and sneezes. I ask if I could leave early because I wasn't feeling up to par. (That and I think that it's disgusting to walk up to a cashier who is blowing her nose) At 4pm they turn to me and said "oh you wanted to go home- well you can if you want." Thank you but I get off at five, I think I can handle grossing out the customers for another hour.

So today, I called in to the manager and before I could finish "hi Diane, it is ..." she told me that I could stay home and to get better. I guess my voice was a good sign of congestion. Either that or I really screwed up the drawer on Monday while hopped on allergy meds.

I just home that I can find some OTC that will let me breathe through my nose again. Nothing is worst than waking up to the feeling of stuffocation because your mouth is so dry the back of it is stuck together and you can breathe throught you nose.My nasal cavity more backed up than 495 at rush hour.

On the plus side - I relearned that if you blow your nose hard emough to get things moving you can make your nose sound like a French horn.
