Okay, because I've been too lazy to make layouts as a hobbie.. I've found a new one. One word.. photos. Well.. of course I don't just take pictures, I'd of course manipulate these images with my beloved photoshop. :D
I've been experiencing with different sort of editing.. and this is what I liked to use this week.
1) Joyce
2) Me
3) Jennifer
4) Roses that my dad bought me for my birthday
Okay, For the opening photo and #1,3.. I first used the gradient map (with your choice of colors). Then I used brightness/contrast to make the colors bolder. After that, use gaussian blur to around.. 90%. Now your image is a blob. Fade the blur by using color burn or linear burn. Notice sometimes your picture will turn all dark. Just simply decrease the percentage of the fade till you think it's good. Then gaussian blur again, this time, fade the blur with color burn, adjust percentage if needed. Now your picture is kind of.. too bright, so use hue/saturation and tone it down a bit. After that.. do more brightness/contrast if you want.. I do this to emphasize the person in the picture. Okay, now you can use the blur tool to get rid of the 'ugly stuff' on the skin areas.. because after fading with color burn.. it usually leaves the skin pixelated.. or zit-looking. Just smooth over those areas..[embellishments] and if the person has bags, use the color burn tool, choose the appropriate color, and just do a few strokes to get rid of it. For girls.. you can use the color dodge tool around the eyes to make it look more defined. :P
I think that was it.. you can make a few more adjustments if you want of course. :P For the other photos, I basically used the same filters/image adjustments.. etc. But in different order. Experiement with them! ;D
How did I learn all this.. ? Umm.. I'm just a freak. :P
If you have other ways of editing your photos, show me so I can learn! ;D
