Camps are a bother really. Because all the hope you have in a friend sizzles out and the next day when it's over the friendship sizzles out.
A tragedy happened on the last day of camp, one guy fell on his head real hard. Like running, trip, backflip and *smack*. To the point where his "eyes turned red and lolled to the side and mucus came out of his nose"
He was unconscious. I've realised it takes a lot to knock out a guy.
Anyway, they began to rely on their little medic and delayed doing the inevitable; dialing 995.
Which pissed me off. They gave some crap reason like what would make sp liable for injury yadda yadda. Call a cab la. Oh no we inform the concerned parents first. The camp form which we signed has already legally removed all obligations to the parents. It's your call. And frankly if i were the parents, i'd say: call immediately please; my son is hurt and i want the best possible medical attention to him in a secure environment like the hospital.
Delay in medical attention can aggravate injury okay, no matter what the situation.
In the end they still called the ambulance.
Anyway camp ends tomorrow and it's bye bye little safe haven society and hello big cruel world.
PS: bye bye to you.
