Curry Heaven

Found a lovely little Indian market on the way home from Ehren's dance class.  Tonight's dinner was channa dal samosa with sweet mango chutney, meatballs kafta curry over basmati rice, and curried spinach with chickpeas.  There was naan too, we had purchased it frozen and thawed it in the oven.  Homemade would have been better but we were in the kitchen for hours already.  Dessert is pista kulfi and kesar pista.  Ehren was a little champ, working tirelessly beside me at the stove.  He is allergic to pistachios and the ice cream gave him a little reaction.  I asked him what next week's ethnic cuisine will be, and he asked for Chinese.  He wants REAL dumplings.  uh oh.
