The Walking Dead; Homeland

The last episode of The Walking Dead was so good. I hated Lori and I'm glad she's dead, but poor Carl having to shoot his own mother in the head. He is going to be so scarred by this.

Lauren Cohan did an amazing job this week. Maggie's reaction to hearing the gun shot from and then her break down at the end when she sees Glenn was so sad.

Poor Rick. Andrew Lincoln's acting in the scene where he found out that she was dead was great. I really wish Rick would have hugged his son though.

I was really sad to see T-Dog go, but I'm glad he went out as a hero to help Carol escape. Daryl better find out next episode that she isn't really dead.

I am so, so incredibly bored by the whole governor storyline. Andrea looks stupid for trusting this guy so easily instead of just going with Michonne who is the one who kept her alive for the last 8 months.

I can't wait until Merle and Daryl see each other.

Homeland

Dana going by to visit that woman in the hospital was just so stupid. Nothing good is going to come from that.

I'm really enjoying Carrie and Quinn's interactions, especially when it comes to Brody. If I wasn't such a Brody/Carrie fan, I would totally want those two to hook up because their chemistry is really good. I'm so glad that he didn't die in that ambush because he is way too pretty to leave the show yet.

Brody and Carrie are my favorite thing about this show. The good cop/bad cop thing that Quinn and Carrie have going on really works for them because Brody is just so at ease with Carrie. I loved their scene in the parking garage where he knows that Carrie is manipulating him with the hand holding to get him to do what she wants by being kind and reassuring, but if that doesn't work she will start with the threats of his family finding out.

I was expecting something much worse from the last Carrie/Brody because of some people's reaction to it, but I really loved the scene. I don't think Carrie looked weak at all by crying in Brody's arms. This is a woman who in essence blames herself for what happened on 9/11 because she missed something and she has bipolar disorder.
She went to Brody because she blamed herself for the seven people who died during the ambush at the tailor's shop. She thinks because she forced Brody to talk to Raya that maybe he somehow warned her what they were going to do.

I don't really care about Mike/ Jess.

I wish there was more Sal in this episode and a little more Virgil/Carrie interaction.
