Yay! The new Death Cab song rocks x) It's still not as good as "Tiny Vessels" but damn, it sure grows on you.
Okay, I don't have pictures for this update so I guess it won't be as exciting but I haven't had one of those wordy updates in a long time so I guess I'll just do one for the hell of it =)
Saturday, August 20th
Today was Bonnie Day! I went over to her house around 2 p.m. and then we watched classic pop footage for awhile. Old NSYNC & BSB performances just totally rock! :D Damn. It's crazy how we still remember all the lyrics and stuff. Then some bad stuff happened, which kind of ruined the mood I guess... sorry for all my drama-rama Bonnie! =\ Thank you for tolerating it and being such a kickass friend :D We ended up watching the Roddick vs. Hewitt tennis semi-finals and I learned how tennis is played! That was awesome. I've always wondered about the 'deuce' and 'love' stuff x) Thanks Bonnie!!!
Sunday, August 21st
I went to Six Flags for the first time with Jaime, Jessica, Meagan, and Albert. I had a total blast with them =) Sorry I chickened out on so many of the rides =x Seriously, looking at some of them just made me want to sweat. It was so scary-looking =x My sister had more balls than I did. Sigh. Next time you guys, next time! I fell asleep on the tables in front of this restaurant in Six Flags for like an hour and my sister + Jaime left me to go play games. This couple next to me ended up watching over me while I was sleeping until Jaime came back x) I felt like someone was babysitting me. It was cool =x Afterwards, we all went to McDonald's for dinner, which was fun. Yum yum! I love their chicken sandwiches.
Monday, August 22nd
Today, I decided to stay home and just... relax. I haven't done that ALL summer. I decided to do something that I haven't done in years... bake cookies completely from scratch! =) Seriously, the difference between packaged-mix cookies and made-from-scratch cookies is humungous! I think homemade cookies taste so much better :) I ended up baking a lot more than I expected, so I called up Sylvie and asked if she wanted to do a surprise cookie run with me at like 10 pm. That was so fun! First, I saved some for my lovely sylvietran :D Thennn... we ran off to Andy's house and gave him a BIG HUG, because we seriously miss that boy so much! We called Kai but then he was out with the boys. Oh well, what the hell. Then off we went to Daniel's house! We spent awhile talking to him, but then we realized we had to get going if we were going to make it home on time. Vroom vroom to Judith's house! She's so cute =) Then our last stop of the day was Bonnie's house. She thought we were crazy x) Sylvie also gave her a present from Vegas :D Friendship/promise rings. Hell yeah :) Thank you for coming with me Sylvie! I <3 our randomness nights to the max!
Tuesday, August 23rd
Priority Processing! I like my schedule x) Erf... the Chrystal + Parker thing didn't quite work out today, but there's always the rest of the year, since we're TA-ing for her. Hmm, after finishing that up, Bonnie and I went back to my house for lunch and watched Johnny Tsunami. Old Disney Channel original movies rock! After that, I took some of the volleyball people to their TV taping in Van Nuys and drove back home to rest a little bit. I pigged out on ice cream and watched Center Stage. What a great movie =) I can never get sick of it. I love watching ballet =x Thennn it was time to meet up with Tammy for our Dodgers game! Oh man, that was so fun! I learned how baseball worked and the crowd was pretty damn enthusiastic, not to mention our seats turned out to be pretty good. For the last inning, we snuck down to the front seats and it was one great view :D Thank you so much for inviting me to a Dodgers game, treating me to my first DodgerDog, and sharing one great bonding moment! I will never forget those darn little 9 year olds =x Next time... a Giants game with Bryan! ;D Oh, and I need to take you to D1! So... I dropped off Tammy and it was like 10:30. I didn't feel like going home so I went to Daniel's house and crashed at his place til midnight or so. Thank you for the awesome talk, as usual. I have the most classes with you again! 4 years in a row :D And now... I should end this entry, because it's way too long.
