Sabeena is fast asleep on a couch in the Slytherin Common Room. Katherine is currently up in their dorm shagging someones brains out and she didn't feel like listening to it. She's got her already packed trunk beside her.

Zander decided that he'd stay just another night at Hogwarts. He was reading, but quickly fell asleep on the couch next to her. When Zander sleeps, he's curled within himself stiffly, a hard expression on his face, and stays in the same position all night. He rarely ever dreams, and when he does, it's a nightmare. Tonight is one of those nightmare nights.

He screams.

Sabeena is jolted awake by his scream. She moves over and kneels in front of him. She starts to shake him lightly trying to wake him up.

Zander. Zander, wake up.

[zestandzeal]

He pushes her away in his sleep, whimpering slightly, and muttering things in Russian.

[chasingwood]

She starts to him harder and whispers comforting words to him... in English.

[zestandzeal]

His eyes flash open, and he stares at her for a moment, shaking slightly before sitting up and rubbing his face.

Shit. Thanks, Freckles.

[chasingwood]

*so obviously worried omg*

Are you okay? What were you dreaming about?

[zestandzeal]

I'm fine, Freckles. *runs a hand through his hair and pulls her onto the couch with him*

I was dreaming about... nothing. *and, he really WAS dreaming about nothing. just blackness.*

[chasingwood]

*pulls her knees up to her chest* Are you sure? You really scared me with that screaming.

Again?

[zestandzeal]

*nods calmly, always embarrassed when he has these nightmares* Don't worry about me, Freckles, I promise I'm fine.

Yeah, again.

[chasingwood]

Well, I do worry about you, especially when you have nightmares about nothing.

*scoots closer to him*

[zestandzeal]

*rests his head in her lap and stares up at her*

Yeah, well, you should have realized that I'm fucked over by now.

[chasingwood]

I don't care if you're fucked over.

[zestandzeal]

*insert his special low soft laugh*

That's nice of you to say.

*plays with a piece of her hair*

[chasingwood]

*amused by his playing with her curls*

Yeah, I thought so too.

[zestandzeal]

*wraps a curl around his finger, blinking tiredly*

Wake me up in about an hour, I should be leaving soon.

*promptly falls asleep, head still in lap*

Sabeena sits there for a few minutes, completely still, before she too, falls asleep.
