Loved this -- how it's true to both the character and a lot of queer experience. Great use of It's a Terrible Life, and I loved the Jess backstory too.

Nice.

The everyday pathos of their lives was subtly written and more powerful for it. I think the saddest moment was when Dean tries to imagine what John's response would be to learning his eldest is bi, and decides it would be better just to never mention it. Poor Dean. =\
