Lecture demostarion - done. It was such a wonderful experience in many ways. Not only because I was finally able to tell more about Takarazuka, but the gathering of info, putting everything together and learning to justify my views. Also my teacher and one of classmates said that my lec-dem was really showing all the things that I've learned and gathered during the nine months here. Plus looks like everyone was surprised by the different kind energy I gave than usually, when I did small part of the beginning of Elisabeth as Lucheni. And I actually got teacher interested in Takarazuka ^^
Also as part of the lec dem, I wrote down a small bit where I told the audience what is the reason deep inside that makes me love Takarazuka so much, and actually it was the first time I *really* tought about it:
It is said that Takarazuka Revue is provider of dreams. For some it might be the dream of fairytale like love, of beauty that can be seen only at the stage of Takarazuka. Eventough sometimes the decisions made by the company's board of directors make me see red, sometimes I'm still blinded by the costumes of the revue show, or some scenes from musicals or revues make me wonder what the heck is going on...I still enter the dream like world. For me it world filled emotions like love, happiness, sadness and pain. World where everyone, every character, can express those feelings in same, no matter how over-the-top way. No matter the gender.
*sighs* it's time to start packing. It is so weird to think that when I started this school, I didn't have any idea that at the end of the year I would be putting bunch of 'Zuka dvds to cardboard box called Box of Shiny =)
