After leaving Isabel, Jack returned to his room. Slipping through the door, he smiled in relief when he saw Cedric, letting his doubts slip away. "You look comfortable."

"Yeah," he said, smiling at him. "She leaves on Thursday, I won't be back before then." Cedric didn't need to know about everything that had happened between them. "I thought I'd better stop by tonight."
