Having had no workshops today and really not wanting to see anyone anyway, Cedric's sleeping.

All right, no he's not, but sleeping gives him an excuse to not venture out and meet anyone just yet.

He missed Jack. Stupid emotions.

When Isabel finally got back to the cabin, she dropped her stuff on her bed then crossed over and tapped on the wall of Cedric's alcove. "Knock, knock," she said quietly.

"I'm sleeping," he mumbled blearily. Of course, the talking gave hint that he wasn't.

"So you talk in your sleep? I didn't know that," Isabel replied, pushing his feet to the side and taking a seat at the foot of the bed.

He sighed and rolled to his side. "There's room if you'd like to lay down."

"Considering my Angelica Desmesnes novels are nesting on my bed? I think I'll take you up on that," she said as she stretched out next to him. "How are you doing?"

"I'm fine," he lied. "Just not sleeping well. I think it's the move from the dorms to the cabins."

He winced and looked away. "I'm...trying not to think too much about it."

"I did that most of today. Or at least I tried to pretend he was somewhere else around camp," she admitted. "I don't think that's going to work in the long run though."

"No. I won't let you do that," Isabel said, poking him lightly. "He wouldn't want you to do that." Yes, she did feel guilty for saying that.
