Today I saw a girl on roller-skates while getting some groceries. Why don't I have roller-skates? I don't even know how to roller-skate. I bet she didn't even think about it. Her hair looked so pretty.  When will mine grow? Will it ever grow? It's not fair. It just isn't fair. People have both parents, hair, neat coats... Why don't I?

I deserve it.

Everyone seems happier than I've been. Maybe then I'll ever be. I want that.

They only seem to be happier, huh? Who says they are?

And who says someone couldn't find some reason to envy you. You know, the whole "people want what they can't have" spiel.

I can't think of reasons why someone would want to be me or what anything I have.
