I have to say that this has been the most interesting Christmas I have ever experienced.

It also seems that I have an egg. I was wondering if everyone received

From what I gather quite a number of people have received an egg of some sort. It seems that someone wanted everyone to have an extraordinary Christmas Day. [ But it ended up being more like eggs-traordinary. ]

I've never seen an egg with such a pattern before..

If I had to guess I'd say that these are Pokemon eggs. From what I've seen this far the markings of the eggs tend to greatly resembled those of the species they belong to.

I can only hope that it won't be anything hazardous.

...though in a world habited by fire-breathing dogs and sheep that produce electricity one can only wonder what would not be hazardous.

I'm sure that quite a few creatures here are capable of that. It seems to be typical to those of fire "type", as they are categorised.
