well i guess it's about that time...
so...a fair amount has happened since the last time i've updated...my rendition of "drumbone" has been completed and printed off in mass numbers, as well as distributed by now...i'm looking forward to rehearsals which will hopefully begin very soon...it's been a project over the last three months, and now the pieces are set...which is exciting...another exciting fact is that disney is just over a week away...talking with kyle and greg today about last time the band went and what we're gonna do this time was time certainly well spent...i'm looking forward to it...another good bit of news is a got an essay back from one of my BW teachers today, and he told me that i should strongly consider becoming an english major, and that he wants to talk to me about it...being an english major is about the last thing i wanna do, so i'm not sure how i'm going to respond...but hey, a good grade is a good grade i guess...so yeah...that about sums things up for me lately...everything is going exceptionally well
so many questions and so very few answers...choosing wants over needs (or vice versa)...metaphorically playing video games with guides as opposed to blind...listening or blocking out, believing or doubting...knowing or denying, instinct versus information...right versus wrong, success versus failure, and (one of my favorites) purpose versus chaos...destiny against decisions...maybe even coincidence and control...a powerful one: intentions and actions...expectations to high for any of us...mercy instead of pity...faith existing where hope is absent...lest we forget perception, let alone perception based on emotion or across people...truth versus perception, and finally reality versus dreams...each such a small part of a much bigger picture...each concept one that we can barely grasp...i could talk about so many things...
relate if you can...you know how there are days where you feel like all your dreams and hopes are within your grasp, and then there are days where you can see that huge gap between where you are and where you want to be...this brings up the question of "which perspective is more accurate?"...at this point in time, i'm inclined to answer "yes", as i'm about to fall asleep any second...and on that anti-climactic note, i'm gonna stop this entry
