Room 304, Friday Afternoon

With only one class Fridays, Angela often spent the afternoon in quiet reflection.

Or napping. They were about the same thing.

But today, she woke up from the nap

"Nothing," Angela said, feeling guilty, She brushed her hair off her face. "Just this really, really intense dream."

"It was a lot like this deam I used to have when I was younger," Angela said. "People are hurting my feelings? But they won't listen to me when I talk to them." She shook her head. "It makes me feel ... really alone."

"And no, I think I just need to wake up the rest of the way. But thanks." She gave Tori a tiny smile.

"Thanks," Angela sniffed.

She tried to put on a smile. "I got my dress yesterday," she said, jumping up to go to her closet. "What do you think?"

"Thank you!" Angela said, genuinely touched. "I just loved the color and the beading ... and I think I'm going to get Isabel Evans to make my hair blond, if I can find her tomorrow."

"Are you going with anyone?"

[chasingangela]

"It's blond under the red," Angela said. "Kind of ... light browny, dark blond, in there."

She smiled back. "Cool, you can dance with everyone."

"Thank you!" Angela said. "I got sick of it, but I might be ready to go back, at least for a while."

She shot Tori a smile. "I'm sure you will have an amazing time."

"I'll fix it Sunday," Angela nodded. A smile danced across her mouth. "Speechless would be nice."
