It has been a low-key week, for the first time in, like, ever. Being from Pittsburgh finally paid off, 'cause I
got $20 from the Superbowl. Yay, money. I still hate football, but
watching the game was pretty fun.
I
should just move into the
library already. Topics this week: vampire hunting, Z. being furious about said vampire hunting, P. not really trusting me in a fight (ouch, but I can't disagree), and the utter bewilderingness that is boys. Then I
interviewed the Librarian for music class. He's very expressive for someone who doesn't talk. I've spent some time in the
TA lounge, too. I still don't know the capital of Ghana.
I also
played with Legos for the first time in, like, seven years. New fact: Paper in the Colonies is octagonal.
The radio keeps saying M. is acting weird, but he's been fine when I've talked to him. Low-key, even. And it turns out he knows a lot about
music, which is something I should talk to him about when things are less weird.
I miss him. Strange, but I do.
I went on a
date with Broots Wednesday, and, even with the sitcomy badness -- he picked flowers I was allergic to, the table got set on fire, my new silk camisole got tomato sauce on it -- there were just no sparks, you know? But he's a really nice guy. Sent me flowers and chocolate afterwards, which he did not have to do. Maybe I should ask him to hang out in a common room and watch a movie sometime, something way more low-key.
I ran into Jack Harkness
at the Perk yesterday. Sounds like his birthday party, which is Monday, will rock.
Now, off to my day of four classes. Whee.
