to reestablish a blood relation through wine and drunken conversations
The boyfriend (who I finally get to see tomorrow for a few short hours!) was a business trip, so Courtney and I took it upon ourselves to have a girls week. Let me tell you we had an absolutely blast! We crafted, we spray painted, we talk about the past, we sung our hearts out and we laughed until it hurt.
Hanging out with Courtney makes me so nostalgic for middle school/high school. I miss having her so close (distance yes, but mostly emotionally). We used to be so close. Before boys, before drama.
But anyway back to nostalgia...This is where using our live journals come in. I remember, I used to love to coming home and recording the evening's events after painting the town ridiculous. I want using this as a method of keep in touch better. So here I am 4 years later picking up where I left off.
So here we go.
BTW: I wanted to give a Birthday shout out to BraD, the gentle giant! I love you man. Thanks for always being available for a good heart to heart conversation.
