My wishlist

Following the crowd, and posting my wish_list.

The Guidelines:

1. Make a post to your LJ. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from something simple and fandom-related to something really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

2. Surf around your friends list to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy.

3. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My Wishlist:

(FYI, I'm perfectly fine with used! Honestly I'd sort of prefer it; if you're going to spend money, please donate it to someone who really needs it!)

1. Podfic! I love listening to it, and there aren't enough recordings of Bandom or Idol fics! (I think SGA, SPN and Merlin spoiled me; there seems to be so much more podfic for those fandoms than for my new ones, and so many awesome LONG ones!)

2. BPAL imps, or the like. I keep starting to get into BPAL, and then getting distracted and/or poor, but smellies are so much fun!

3. Stickers, especially cute little ones that I can use in my day planner.

4. Pretty pens, stationery, etc. I have a bit of a thing for office supplies.

5. Vegetarian and/or vegan recipes. Either in cookbook format or links to good recipes/sites/blogs online. I'm trying to be more adventurous with my cooking.

6. A wallet. Mine is looking pretty sketchy at this point, and I refuse to buy one because "I can totally make one that's just the way I want it!" So far that plan has only resulted in a severe lack of nice wallets, on account of my predilection for procrastination, and also for not measuring things before I cut and sew them. (...Yeah.)

7. A purse! Mine is too small to hold all of the junk I bring in to work on a regular basis. A roomy messenger bag-type thing would be awesome! (See above re: rationalisation for not buying a new purse. I actually made the (too small) bag that I'm using right now. I really need to remember to measure things.)

8. If anyone has an old SD memory card, I would love it! I'm currently transferring fic to my ancient Palm to read, and the memory on this thing is 60MB, about 45MB of which is useable space. THAT IS NOT A TYPO. So, even an old 128MB SD card would vastly improve the number of fics I can have on that thing at a time!

9. Alternately, on the off-chance that someone has upgraded to a new E-reader and has an old one lying around...I'd love to take it off of your hands! I'm pretty sure anything would be an improvement over my 60MB Palm. (Although, I've got to say, that thing is a *trooper*. I can't believe it still works (most of the time).) Or, if you're reading this after just having won the lottery...the new Kindle3G looks pretty shiny. *grin*

10. For 2011 to be a better year for everyone than 2010 was. Some of the people on my friendslist have been having a really tough year, and mine's been pretty up-and-down. I hope 2011 is a good one for us all!
