So I went with Leah, Leah's mom, Chandra, and Crystal (Chan's sister) last Sunday (I know :-p) to Hunger Artists Theater to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch. I have been madly in lust with John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig in the film) ever since I first saw him... he is prettier that most girls without looking like a big wussy. Maybe someday I'll get around to seeing the play - but they better have a real pretty boy as Hedwig or I won't enjoy it.

I lucked out, because my Hedwig was hot. :-p (Although the pics from the theater's site don't convey such at all, dammit.) Had lovely legs and hands. But then so much of the attraction, I think, was on personality and quirks (the way she played with her hair, my god) rather than appearance.

I think we're slightly at odds, however. When we walked out of there I got the movie version described to me as the dumbed-down one. Heh, so I may be biased. But the soundtrack is far superior to the grainy scratchy OCR that needs a good remastering. (Not that I spent all yesterday downloading the tracks I could find or anything. :-P) JCM looks lovely though. I'll give you that.
