Notes: The series is powered on trust-engineered mecha combining into Dreads. Don't be too surprised if there's a chance for yours to combine too. Also, a list of important NPCs is here with spoilers blacked out.

Background: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vandread

Personality: Dita is seen as a very enthusiastic character, full of life and energy but with some degree of self-admitted stupidity. She is always smiling about something, and has a great love for alien life-alien being men, of course. Since she was a young girl, she has always wanted an alien to come abduct her and take her away, an analog for wanting a prince on a white horse. Despite this, she always does things at high energy and doesn't really know how to take no for an answer.

Around women, she is naturally comfortable because she grew up in an all-woman environment, and her wingmates in her Dread squadron have been a constant source of comfort throughout the series. Meia she regards as a superior, and something of a big sister while Jura and Barnette are also major figures in her life. Dita is especially attached to Gascogne, like all of the crew, the older woman providing advice for every woman, and later man, in need. Magno also has been a great source of comfort, having been with her since she was little.

Men she regards as aliens, a curiosity that drives her actions. They are a curious alien race which she knows nothing of, to the point of listening to rumors and trying to find out more, like the "antenna between their legs" in the bathroom as demonstrated in episode 3. She is constantly fascinated by everything they do, how they look and how different they are from women in their actions. She is definitely not scared of them, and once she finds a guy like Hibiki in the series, she will latch onto them like a lamprey. Aliens are the pinnacle of all of her dreams and she is hellbent on discovering what secrets they hold.

Dita has a tendency to move between emotions at the drop of a hat, going from happy-go-lucky to consistently worried within seconds. When friends get into trouble, she becomes focused and ready to do battle or stand up for them. Alternatively, she has her silly, flighty moments while in combat. Dita isn't good with sadness of any kind, taking depressive states extremely hard. When she was yelled at by Hibiki in the series, she decided to give him space even if she was upset at doing so. What hurts her the most boils down to rejection, and the possibility of someone being upset from her actions day to day.

Her happy-go-lucky state stems from having a hard life since her apartment building was shut down, and she joined the Mejire Pirates. She refuses to cry over things because she hates seeing sad people, even if it means taking on their sadness. During times of pain and loss, she'll do her best to try and make people smile, even if means getting yelled at for things that other people believe to be insensitive.

However Dita is extremely dependable when things boil down to it, being a fairly skilled pilot for her relative inexperience. She is a fast learner and can manage to keep a cool head in battle, but anywhere else she relies on her natural instincts and chases people relentlessly, trying to discover more about them.

Capabilities and Resources:
Very good cook
UFO Obsessed
Capable to pilot two types of mecha
Able to use advanced technology.
Fast learning curve

(*REQUIRED* if you have a robot)
Robot Name:: Dita Dread
Robot Description: Dita Dread, or just her dread, is a purple, heavily armoured machine with twin energy weapon parts on either side. She can also be armed with a missile spread, various types of ship-based ordinance and beam weaponry. It is a single-pilot machine, though it serves as the base for Vandread Dita when combined with Hibiki's Vanguard. It has a highly mobile airspeed, and can dish out a lot of damage in a single pass. Mostly used for pirate hit-and-runs prior to modification, it serves as the mecha "All Rounder" of the storyline.

Robot Name: Vandread Dita
Robot Description: Vandread Dita is a combination of a Vanguard-type mecha that is augmented by the Pexis Pragma and is driven by Hibiki Tokai, her co-pilot, and her own Dread, which is a fast and light fighter ship that is typically armed between light to heavy. When combined, it creates Vandread Dita, a combination which is based on a typical mech, but with several weapons including Pexis Beam weaponry, heavy armor and high mobility. It comes with two sword-like protrusions that can be used as energy blasters or shifted down to the arms as a pair of swords, which also can be fired energy from.

It also comes armed with a chest cannon that is used in the later part of the series, and is one-fourth of the eventual Super Vandread that is debuted, along with Vandread Jura (Defensive Type) and Vandread Meia (Speed Type) in the series.

It is also noted that Vandreads are created not only by simple Pexis energy, but seems to support the will of the Pexis Pragma itself. Within range of said device, the Pexis itself can lend its powers to any other mech, and force a combination into a new Vandread which results in Dita sitting on someone's lap in the new cockpit or vice versa in any close format. Duration of combination is entirely based on the condition of the Pexis, as well as the stamina of the pilots.

Terrain Stats: (This is optional, but for those who have played SRW, this is a good way to give us a quick judge of how good your mech is overall. For those of you who haven't played the games, they are measured: --, D, C, B, A, S, with -- or D meaning it can't fight there at all and S being the best. Note that only upgrades tend to have an S unless they are entirely gimped or unusable in other areas.)

(*REQUIRED* if you captain a flagship)
Flagship Name: Nirvana
Flagship Description: A combination of a pirate ship and the retrofitted old section of the Ikazuchi Colony Ship, the Nirvana is captained by the pirate Magno Vivian, a first generation colonist who had been ousted from her home when it was shut down due to power consumption from a neighbouring block. It supports a fairly vast crew of a hundred and fifty people, technicians, Dread Pilots, a fully stocked arming facility, support vessels for in-flight restocking, powerful shields, astrometrics, luxurious crew quarters and later on, a homing beam-missile weapon system that actually curves around friendlies to hit opponents. Its population consists of 146 women, 3 men and 1 Navi Robot. 151 in total when Ezra's baby, Kaluha, is born.

It also houses a lot of pre-colonial items of nostalgia and various other things such as living quarters for the old colonists, and things left behind from the residents of the fleet. Its main source of power is the Pexis Pragma, a living energy source that starts out as a sealed crystal, but then grows and changes the ship due to the wishes of the entire crew on a whole. It has been known to respond to various characters such as Hibiki and his Dread team, Bart's wish to protect Shirley and her people, and seems to suggest that it is alive and learning. It is fearful of the Red Pexis, which was brought up on hate, and twisted into an instrument of fearsome survival, rather than the warm human emotions the Nirvana's crew creates for it.

The Nirvana hosts a powerful tracking missile-beam weapon system, as well as the side wings of the ship can transform via the will of the Pexis itself to encase a friendly in crystalline armor to protect them from devastating explosions. There are many places for comfort such as the spa and kitchens, workout areas, a retrofitted cell serving as the men’s quarters, hydroponic gardens under the bridge spire, and yes, there is a naked guy in the cockpit.

Terrain Stats: (Same as above.)
Land: D
Air: S
Sea: D
Space: S

Upgrades: Atmo-Config
After the Super Vandread mission, the Dreads are reconfigured so that they can enter atmosphere easily without having to be fitted for entry. It is assumed that Hibiki's Vanguard can do the same. This allows simply for re-entry into atmosphere and boosts Dita's Dread from A to S rank in air combat.

"Super Vandread aka Vandread Pyoro"
Super Vandread is the combination of three Dreads and a Vanguard type. Armed with the power of the Pexis Pragma completely connected to it, it supports all the features of all three Vandreads, Dita's mobile suit form, Jura's defensive capabilities and Meia's speed. All four pilots plus Pioro, the Navi Robot, control it, and work in tandem to fight the opponent. Armed with lasers, an energy sword, a chest beam, super-speed and a seemingly limitless fuel supply, Super Vandread does have its weaknesses being that it is meant for air and space combat primarily and can break apart under massive stress and be damaged like any other ship.

Nirvana Heavy Beam-Missile System
Due to the wishes of Bart in a later moment during the series, the Nirvana gets the power to fight back with a unique guided missile system that can make sharp curves around friendlies to curve and strike opponents, usually taking things anything short of a Harvester Mothership down in one shot.

Nirvana Crystalline Protective Shield
A strong crystalline shield that was used in the final battle to protect the pilots of the Super Vandread. It is mainly used as a one-shot deal anyhow in the series to acknowledge the fact that they are friends with the Pexis.
