You know, i love to talk politics with people... as long as they are open to listening to me, respecting me and discussing... i find it really frusterating in England as most Europeans bring up American politics with me with the undercurrent of "lets hear and tell her how ridiculously wrong her 'American'" ahhhh it drives me crazy!!! I then in turn usually surprise people with my political view and they tell me so. The funny thing is I know tons of people who dont have this "typical" American view... you know the one, conservative, ignorant, and selfish the "Texan." God, I don't know how you can put such stereotypes on an entire continent, especially one based on it freedoms...freedoms of religion, speech (including political) being two of the many. i can only conclude that Europe believes everything they read or see on TV, merely because its presented in a "these are the facts" manner.(cough cough its called media bias, i would know its really awful in America) i'm not saying i don't like Europeans... i do but this is just one of those things that really annoys me. I probably havee a very similar political view to one of them, i just hate their assumptions and gross generalizations. Its the only time i feel like cursing people out... I really hate generalizations! You know what assuming does- makes and ASS out of U and ME. Ha!
Ha now I need to go dance around to Justin Timberlake, it will make me feel happy.
