After staking the vamps, I had made Xander drive to Wolfram Hart. Yeah, I was going into the belly of the beast but something had to be done. Angel couldnt keep paying my bills and not know that I wouldnt get bitchy about it. I had left my crossbow in the car before I shut the door. "Dont worry about me, I'll catch a cab and make Angel pay for it."
I tapped the glass of the car and watched it drive off. Taking a deep breath in, I straightened my shirt before entering the office. I saw a big office and I naturally assumed that it was his.
"Cordy!"
Stopping,I heard Harmony's voice. I moved to look at her with a smile. "Harmony! You work for Angel?" Wow, he must of been that desperate.
"Yeah. He needed a secretary and I got the spot!" I watched her smile. Atleast she was happy about it.
"Thats good. Is he in?" I started to walk towards the office.
"Yeah but he is in a meeting. You.."
I didnt catch what she said as I moved inside his office. "Angel, I have a bone to pick with you." I said after opening the door. Looking at the people or what looked like people that were sitting down, I placed my hands on my hips while still standing at the door.
