*sigh* Can I just say I love you? Apart from select TFaTF fics, I can't find much Dom/Brian material that is worth reading. Every time I get the urge (ever since after I watched TFaTF for the first time then went looking for slash and stumbled upon Maygra's work) I scour the net in hopes of finding something good, something well written, with plot, depth, maybe a little smut (shock, horror), and a lot of Dom/Brian interaction, and never find anything. Maybe once or twice I manage. I hadn't read this when I found it, I went to the Spike/Xan fic, cause it was late and I was tired *rolls eyes*, and this seemed long, but that other comment I left you today reminded me I hadn't read this yet so I decided to now. That's why I feel so strongly about pledging my deep and unwavering love to you =P : this is excellent. It's positively squee-worthy. Amazing, really, and you have to write a follow up, a sequel, another ending, whatever, I don't care, you just have to write something in this universe... Or y'know, just write more Dom/Brian fic. Nyargh, please???

I love this story. The way it starts, the way it evolves, the way it ends (all three damn times). The first ending was the sweet, just about happily ever after they needed after all that. The second was the realistic, he-still-has-a-job-and-needs-to-go-back-so-he-can-tie-up-loose-ends-and-possibly-go-some-time-without-Dom, ending that has the potential for a positive sequel or follow up (my personal favourite ending ^^). The third... I think you blind-sided just about everyone with that one. I seriously thought he was talking to Dom at the beginning, then figured it out (*glares*), then had the uncontrollable urge to hit fic-Brian... I like how in the end of that one, he's the one trying not to think of the man he loves... I like how he still loves him... Even though it wasn't the ideal/romantic/happy ending, it was still killer. It also has potential for a follow up, though with a possibly higher angst level. Oh, and I think I like the phone booth 'scene' better in the third ending then in the second. The desperation and the realisation that Brian would be gone soon... *shakes head* It would be a damn shame if you didn't write more for this *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*.

I'll beg if I have to. Really.

Anyway, excellent fic. You should write more. Not just TFaTF (though, as you may have already gathered from my insistent hinting, that wouldn't be such a bad thing =P), but more in general. I like what I've read of yours so far, and wouldn't mind reading more. Much loooooooooooove ^^

Maygra, yeah. I think her slash might have been the first TFATF I read. And yes, you may love me. And I will love you right back, your comments made me squee and were so very welcome after a day of very non-creative paper pushing at work. I read your comments the night you posted and ended up re-reading this part of the fic to get me going for...

the next part, because there is indeed more to the second ending. I've been trying to get it done for a bit now, and your comments kind of reminded me that I needed to get on it immediately and finish it up. It's still not finished, but it's coming. It's written from someone else's point of view, and there is angst of course.

As you have experienced, I tend to write long multi-part things so not that many fics get done.

There is a shortish Brian/Dom fic in my memories called He Knew Men and it's sequel Broken Arrow which again was written to satisfy something I have seen in TFATF fics, but wanted to do my version of. Broken Arrow has angst, but is also a little sappy.

If you have the time, I'd love to see what you think.
