I kept my scheduled VVC vacation days (except Monday...it's a payroll entry date and that's part of my job and it seemed spiteful to take that off, too, considering that I'm not going anywhere after all), so I'm now on a four-day mini-staycation. Lots of classwork to do, of course, but hopefully there will be time left over for other -- less tedious -- things. Like I just snuggled kitties and a puppy (for a limited duration, she is bigger than a lap dog, so about 30 minutes is all either of us can stand before overheating) while watching Leverage and Top Chef Masters, which totally did not suck :-)
