Vid rec: That Thing You Do
That Thing You Do (Ashes to Ashes) by croc_rocketfan -- There are few enough vids out there that are really well cut, much less to an uptempo, fast-paced song. This vid is a delight because the vidder understands how to communicate with quick cuts -- with too little story, fast cutting makes for "clip salad"; too much and you lose the viewer because they have to stop and process. Story and humor and movement are balanced beautifully here...it's fun, playful and a great showcase of Alex and Gene's chemistry.
