I just wnat to die right now. My stupidity got me frozen on Subeta. I'm soooo upset I could just scream. I appealed it, but I get the distinct feeling that admin hates me so I probably stand no chance. Go, I can stop crying. It's stupid, but I loved my little community on there, and now god knows, if it's all a waste. Here's my appeal I wrote:
"To whom it May Concern,
I would like to dispute my frozen account "ChasKitty." First, I'd like to go though and tell my side of the story on all my warnings, for I feel at least some of them are not justified. One thing you should know first is, I had my account for a long time before I was active on it, so even though it said I was a year or so old, I was still a 'newbie'. I'll list the offences to make it easier:
1. "Anyone have any junk they can send me? I need to offer on a trade and I don't have any items!!" - Okay, now I know this is not allowed, but I believe I made this post withing the first week I was active. I know this is not a very good reason, but I was new, and therefore I believe I should have been warned verbally, before being given an official warning.I know at the time this feature was not implemented, but since it is, maybe this should no longer count against me.
2. "You have received an official warning from the Subeta staff for Shoutbox: Begging is not allowed. Please read the rules of the shoutbox. h my god... *cries* I wasn't begging, please, understand I was asking for JUNK...:-(:-(:-(" - Okay, so I probably deserve this one.
3. Saying "wh*re" - I was under the impression that this was okay to say because I knew Subeta allowed mild profanity. I was not sure of the degree of profanity allowed (and did not see where this is explained) and therefore had to use my own judgement. I now know the cut-off on Subeta is PG-13, but I still had to have this explained to me because I was not sure what PG-13 included. I am not much of a movie-goer or TV-watcher, plus I am already of age, so none of it was apparent to me.
4. An apparent long argument with IamSassy - I was in a fuss with IamSassy over the price of a Halloeve. I admit to calling her "evil and greedy" because she refused to wait while I ordered Gold Accounts to trade with her. She then took it to the shoutbox, asking if she was "evil and greedy" and explaining her side. I then explained my side and we went back and forth, I tried to drop it, but she continued bringing it up. In hindsight, I should have not responed, but we all have better judgement once we are out of the situation.
5. "anyone willing to sell their triv prize to me, please comment on my profile." - Beings that this rule is in effect, I must accept responsibly for breaking it; however I believe the rule does more harm than good. It makes it quite difficult to sell items, or ask a group of people if they have an item you want. I think it would be a great means of finding items and selling, as not nearly as many people use the forums regularly, and the old advertisement shoutbox was easily overlooked. This change I believe might even stabilized Subeta's economy slightly. I see no harm in asking if someone is willing to sell items, and I think other users would agree. As long as you do not harass people about it, repeat the inquiry continually, I see nothing wrong with it. Perhaps this rule should be removed or altered.
Overall, I believe my offenses do not warrant being frozen, by no means am I perfect, and I admit I have messed up, but I love Subeta and am a very dedicated user. I have put a LOT of time, money and effort into my account and I value it tremendously. I do promise to watch myself from now on, especially in the shoutbox.
