gotta run for cover, gotta run for shade
summer vacation = bliss. sure, at times i become a little bored, but i have all the time in the world to think about what i want to think about and do things that i want to do.
i know it's hot outside, it's very hot. but i'd rather appreciate the fact that summer's finally here instead of waiting for winter, like usual. it seems like i always wish for the season that it isn't. there are rarely days with perfect weather, and it's not like anyone really does anything about it when it's here. maybe they'll post a myspace bulletin saying "it's pretty out."
anyway, it's the same with school and summer vacation. [school is to summer vaca as cold is to hot]. i don't want to be someone who can't wait for vacation when school's in session, then waits desperately for school to begin as my summer ennui tempts me to.
i want to be someone who likes it, what ever "it" is, while it is here. in other words, i'm going to stop taking so many things for granted.
