So I have my original intentions for the pairing, but I have started to have doubts about the validity or honesty of those intentions. Is it dishonest to summarize and mention in the first chapter that this is an asexual character, with the intention of sexualizing him? And since asexuals are such a small, unknown, misunderstood, subset, and so far outside the ken of most people, am I doing a disservice by treating asexuality like a priest kink or a "let's turn the straight boy gay!" kink?
Am I overthinking it?
It's also not just a matter of trying to be sensitive, but, maybe, after these many years of D/C porn (to the point where I sometimes skip it to get back to the plot, where once I was all about the PWP), it would be a more interesting take to explore one of the other options.
