Perfect ending. The music was great, it didn't immediately mend things completely with Apollo, we got some camaraderie between Helo and Starbuck, and it made me sob.

I was a little worried for a while that they were going to take the drunk-Starbuck thing a little too far, but I'm actually glad that she mostly got over that by the end. I don't usually like when the loose ends get tied up, and BSG's pretty good with leaving things hanging. (That's why it's my favorite show) And the rivalry with Kat was excellent. I hope to see much more of Kat, though perhaps with her being a little more sympathetic. But this time Kara really needed it. Kat's got some natural leadership qualities, and I'm rooting for her to become a main character. Yay for some Starbuck/Apollo action, though it made it pretty clear that nothing romantic's going to happen between them - at least for a very long time.

Favorite lines: "I'm hung up on a dead guy. Okay? It's pissing me off. I was just lookin' for a good lay." The angst is so great - she's not whining (of course not! it is Starbuck) and she's trying to force herself to give up, but of course she can't. And Apollo's just right there for her. ("I may be a quick lay, but I'm also your friend" *petpet*)
Also, "You got something to live for now, not just die for." Harking back to the ep. back on Caprica when Starbuck and Helo went back to her apartment and they had a moment. Starbuck opened up then, saying that everyone else was fighting to get back something they lost - she was fighting because she didn't know how to do anything else. And, the unspoken understanding later came to be that she was also fighting for her friends. Now she has something to fight for. Love the change in mindset. What can I say, I'm a whore for character development!
