Arigatou ~Sekai no Doko ni Ittemo~ Review :D
Let's start with the songs.
The song Arigatou ~Sekai no Doko ni Ittemo~, obviously the main song in the single, has a retro feeling to it. The song's really catchy and it has a nice melody/beat that it'll surely make you want to dance along to the song and get you hyper. The only problem is that I find it a bit hard to sing along to the song because of the lyrics. Obviously, it's a dance song so it's fast and it's hard to catch up to it especially if you're not that good in Japanese. They did a lot of play of words in the lyrics of the song so it's as if it won't make that much sense in English but you DO understand that they are giving thanks to the whole world, hence, the different languages, so it DOES make sense after all, which just adds to the confusion :D. Didn't get it? What I meant is that, when you read the translations at first, it doesn't make much sense because of the play of words but then the real meaning of the song is actually 'giving thanks to the world' so that means you understand it well. So it means that the song makes sense after all :). Note: If you still didn't get it, just give up. I can't understand myself sometimes either :)). But that's really what I thought. Anyway, moving on.
As we all know, they used plenty different languages. I just don't know HOW they picked those languages. Did they base it according to the popular countries out there? But as a Filipino fan, I am really happy to know that my language is included there :) Although I am such a fail because I was really looking forward to hear them say it but I ended up missing it because I didn't understand ;|. Maybe it's just because I was too caught up in the song and, because of the songs melody, the way of saying it changed. I just hope they won't get used to saying 'SAlamat po' instead of 'saLAmat po'. Well, actually, 'salamat' means thank you while the 'po' is.. like an honorific, I guess. It's used to pay respect to the elderly/those older than you :). Okay, before this changes into Language, let's move on to the next song.
By the way, the line 'I love you, Arigatou' really catches on :D. And I'm really really very addicted to the 'Hm. We are JUMP' and 'Ari ari ari Thank You You Just gato gato gato gato Arigatou' part <3.
FLY is such a beautiful song. I heard it, well, we all did, from Hey! Say! JUMP-ing Tour '08 - '09 and sadly, I noticed Sun Love Motion more than this song ;C. But I'll never forget Yabu's solo line 'Fly to the sky~'. That's the only thing I could remember about this song other than the chanting of their group name and the familiar melody. The meaning of the song is very nice; very inspiring. Basically because I'm in love with skies :)). But really, it's a very nice song :). The part I like the most, other than the chorus [I like the way they sing it :)], is the 'tsuyoku motto tsuyoku' up to 'maiagarou'. It's really nice, the way they sing it. I thought that it was Dash!! mixed to the song but it wasn't and I was very happy that it was Ryosuke, Yuto, and Yabu [if I'm not mistaken] who sang those parts. Just imagining them perform this live and Ryosuke will walk forward to sing his part and then it's Yuto's turn to walk forward and they look at each othe--OHMY, I should just stop before this turns to YamaJima xD.
Snow Song. At first, I thought this would be something like NYC's Jugatsu no AmeShizuku but it turns out to be a cute, puppy-love kind of song. AND I LOVE IT JUST LIKE THAT. Ryosuke, at the very beginning [if I'm not mistaken], sounded very funny that I always laugh :). It sounds cute and funny at the same time :)). I also love the melody of the song, although the 'mune ga clap! clap! clap!' and 'hoo ga burn! burn! burn!' part confuses me [the timing, i mean]. But overall, it's such a lovely song. It's as if you can really feel the snow falling gently from above because of its melody <3. And it feels so magical how I can imagine it all in my head :) [yes, I will be writing a fic about this ;)]. My favorite part, other than the chorus [seriously, who will NOT make the chorus as their favorite?!], is the 'lalalalalalalalala~ yamanai yuki/jikan yo tomare' and Ryutaro's solo lasi;dfuaefu;oqewfEI;U[PRY!!! Because he's cool just like that ;D.
Futarikake [or is it --kage??] no Bashou. I.. basically have no idea what the title means x|. Can someone tell me? Because I tried google-translating it to at least get an idea but it said 'two-seater place'..? So, moving on, I really didn't know there was a song like this in the single xD. All I remembered was Snow Song [just because there's snow in it xD] and I almost forgot FLY. So far, this is the song in the single that I get really confused with. It's because of the melody.. it's kind of confusing for me so I find it a bit hard. And, surprisingly, this is the song that has NYC's Jugatsu no AmeShizuku's melody. I got confused with that song as well, so hopefully, everything will be okay for this song, too :). So far, the only lines I can sing right are 'I can never get this, it's your life/ You can never get this, my life' --which is, by the way, my favorite part of the song :D--, 'Kimi ga kureta meeru wa' and 'Ikanakucha wakatteru'. Yabu's voice is really small <3. I know Hikaru's is, too, but.. Yabu, when he speaks, he has a low voice but when he sings, it can get as small as that and I just LOVE IT SO MUCH. And that's the reason why I remember the rhythm of the line 'kimi ga kureta meeru wa' :D. I think it's really unfair that Yabu and Dai-chan get to have cute voices and I don't. Because I think I'm more deserving to have it since I AM a girl and they're NOT :)). Oh well :)).
Now, to the video :).
The PV is, in simple words, AWESOME LIKE HEAVEN. [yea, I know. It's supposed to be as awesome as hell but wtheck? Hell is NOT awesome xP]. It's very futuristic, their costumes aren't so complicated and they can move easily. I love the part where each of them get a close up shot.. everyone was HANDSOME. I will SO make a screencap of them >:D. Love those blue squares that go around when they're showing the dance parts and I love it when they were punching and the blue squares appear again :) [LOL so childish :))]. I really can't do anything about the screentime but I just hope that Ryutaro, Keito, Takaki, and Inoo get to have more since I only remember glimpses of them. Except for Inoo because he killed me during the part where BEST was walking ;*. I will forever remember Hikaru's part :)). As for Ryutaro, I only noticed him [and not to mention his hot/cuteness!] because of the making of. I only remember Keito at the close up shot.. he was sitting on a chair.. and OHMY, I don't remember any of Takaki's part TT^TT. But I remember lots of his part in the making of :D. Okay~ end of screentime issue :)).
During the first part, it's a bit funny since they weren't in sync as they walk :)). Wouldn't it usually be all of them walking at the same time? Like left foot first xD? I guess only Westlife does that :D *whacked*. Other parts that killed me/made me flail so much were Chinen's and Yuto's close up shot, the part where they go 'grazie, grazie, check it out yo', Ryosuke's 'wo nosete', 'hm. we are JUMP', 'check it out, yo~ oooh~ yeah! come on!', and 'arigatou' xD. Sorry, I'm biased :D. And Daiki's 'thanks' <3. Oooh~ now I remember Takaki's part! Takaki's 'hagemashau toki mo' where his lips are the cutest thing EVER! And don't you just think how cool Daiki is at the 'Oh~' [the first part where they go 'We say~ Oh~ Arigatou] part?!
The only thing that bugs me are the jumpshots because some of them look LOL over there :)).
About the making of, I can't say so much right now because I don't understand much. I do like to say that I LOVE JOHNNY SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THE DANCE SHOT IN THE MAKING OF <3, RYUTARO IS SO HOT WHILE DOING HIS SOLO SHOT, TAKAKI, HIKARU, AND RYOSUKE ARE ADORKABLE, BEST IS WHACKIER THAN 7, AND JUMP IS SO FUN THAT I REALLY WANT TO BE BEST FRIENDS WITH THEM AND JUST PLAY AND LAUGH EVERYTHING OFF ♥
and the way Yuto say 'peanuts' and the way Ryosuke said 'fighting' [I think xD] at a certain part is ♥
OVERALL COMMENT:
Like what I said in FaceBook, in my opinion, this is the best single ever. Well, as of now it is :). JUMP has never had this kinds of songs before and I am so proud that they have it now :). The PV is awesome, the distribution of solo lines are pretty nice; hopefully Keito and Inoo will get more in the future :). I like hearing Inoo's voice for no particular reason at all :D. I am so happy that it's not focusing on a certain member like in Hitomi no Screen, but I guess there's a reason behind that since Hitomi no Screen IS the theme song for Hidarime Tantei EYE xD. While they were singing the part 'saa~ kansha ga..' etc. etc. the part where Yabu, Hikaru, Yuto, Takaki and Chinen sing their lines, I thought there'd be a line that Ryosuke will song but it turns out there's none and I was so shocked :O <--yea, like that. :)). I hope that this will be a start to a much better Hey! Say! JUMP in 2011 :). YAY TO NO BIAS :) <3.

And I almost forgot xD. About that picture at the top, it just bugs me a bit that Ryosuke's position is looking directly at the camera while the others are side views. They could've at least made Daiki do that positon as well to make it equal. But oh well, who am I to complain when I like it anyway? ;)).
