Marriage.
When you hear that word...won't your reaction be "Ah~ Marriage." and you say it with full of passion. Or doesn't it make you feel heavy inside? Me, it certainly does.
I don't know why but marriage is in a big issue nowadays. They are arguing if they should make marriage a contract that has an expiration date. You should renew it after every 10 years. If you still want to be married to the person.
[Sorry if ever there are those people here who agree to that but I'm just stating my views...even though I'm not old enough to be talking about this topic].
Marriage is indeed a beautiful thing that is to be treasured deep within our hearts. Two people say their vows to each other, promising to protect and love each other for better or for worse, in front of their friends and family and most of all, in front of God. Some of you may not believe in Him but I do. And maybe, just maybe, that is one of the things why marriage is such a big deal to me and other people. Because it involves God.
They say that the goal they are after is that each spouse would have to work hard in order for the other to keep on renewing their marriage contract. You cannot harm the other, 'cause if you do, then he or she may not renew anymore. And you wouldn't want that to happen. Or do you? That is my point. Having to renew after every 10 years...thinking that if you fail to renew it...you'd be free from it...won't that somehow, tempt you? Because people make mistakes. They always do. And it's not like you're going to love only one person all your life. There are friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, lots and lots of people you can love. That's why it's not impossible for you to make a mistake, thinking that now, you love a different person more than your spouse. And adding the info that you should renew after 10 years...then it will be more tempting not to renew, right? If it's the marriage that we have now...it wouldn't be quite so easy to brake that bond. You'll need to have lots and lots of money. So you'd have to think twice. And thrice. And over and over again.
Maybe I am able to say this because I am still a child who has no idea about the harshness of reality...but...I'm going to ask you. Is it really harsh? If we think it is, then it surely would be. But...it may be hard most of the time...all of us eventually fall when we can't handle situations...but we need to get back up and try once more. Believing is such a tiring thing to do...but we have to. Besides, it's not like we have to do it by ourselves. There are lots of other people out there who can help us on our way.
Well, back to the topic [LOLs. I went out of topic again but whatever! xD].
Marriage is such a beautiful thing. I want to treasure it when the right time comes for me. To me, marriage is somehow magical and full of passion and that we need to respect it. And, as I am now, I don't want to ruin that image. I hope to respect it to the very day that I get to experience it myself.
