kitchen organizing, dishwasher!!!!!
I am the proud owner of my very first dishwasher! Yayy!! I'm in love already.
The down size is that I lost a drawer and cabinet. I had to empty another drawer so I could move my silverware over and it's just having a domino effect and forcing me to clean out every cabinet so I can squeeze all of my stuff in there. There is a lot of stuff I never use that can go in the garbage, basement, or garage sale pile.
Today on my lunch break I went to walmart for some things to organize my drawers and cabinets. I was a little overwhelmed, so I just bought a whole 9 piece set of wire organizers for $12. I'm sure I won't use them all (especially since my cabinets are very small and crappy), but it saved me 15 minutes in the store of scratching my head trying to decide which ones I can use.
I also bought a laundry hamper with 3 compartments to make life easier, but I'm reading reviews online right now and they are all really bad. I'm disappointed, I was kind of excited about it. The one that received relatively good reviews is $40, and it seems steep for a laundry hamper, right?? Nevermind, the one at target is $70!!!! Outrageous!! I could think of some way to build a nice one without wheels for that price. Like I need another project.
