busy weekend
So after looking at my boob light fixture (still in the box) for a week, I've decided it has to go back to the store. I can't live with it. Today I'm going grocery shopping and to find a better light fixture. I'm DETERMINED.
This weekend has been pretty busy. Joe decided he wants to join the Lions club because eventually he wants to get into local politics. So he's stroking the old guys. My boss is in the club, so I asked if he could get Joe in. Friday we had to go to a convention dinner. My two bosses, Joe and I carpooled up there. There was a DJ and open bar, I was impressed. Joe and I were the youngest ones there by at least 20 years. I had maybe a few too many cranberry and vodkas and ended up flipping off the DJ by the end of the night (I don't remember why). Now I guess I can't join lions club, aw nuts. I don't think anyone except one of my bosses saw. I helped sell almost $200 in 50/50 tickets by batting my eyelashes at the old guys, so they can't complain too much.
Saturday we went to Joe's sister's baby shower. She is due next month, and I'm very excited to get my baby fix. I am itching for a baby bad, but I refuse to do that again until I am married. Anyway, I got her a gift certificate for a prenatal massage and a couple of Leo's favorite board books (a colors touch and feel book and brown bear brown bear).
For the past month, I have been taking these Sam-E supplements to elevate my mood. I must say that they are working. I feel much more positive. I think it's the little boost I needed. I definitely recommend them. They are just under $15 a month for the cheaper brand at Walmart, but absolutely worth it.
