waiting for a job call back
Today I am anxiously waiting a call back from the interview I had on Monday. They said I would get a call today letting me know if I made it to the second round of interviews. I realllyyy hope I did. I think I did pretty well.
I had another interview yesterday for a service writer position at a truck repair shop. I did really well at that one, but it didn't sound like he was going to hire me. I wasn't incredibly qualified. Actually, I hope I don't get hired. The hours are brutal. 10 hours on Thursday, 10 hours on Friday, 1pm-11pm on Saturday, and 6am-4pm on Sunday. That means I would get maybe four or five hours of sleep Saturday night. I am very crabby if I do not sleep. I don't think I could find anyone to watch Leo the entire weekend. & I would hardly see him at all for four days. However, I would get 40 hours a week and I liked the environment and boss. If he offers me a job, I may have to decline. Even though it is a job. Maybe I'm stupid for not taking it when I need one so badly, but I think I can do better.
Yesterday I applied for another job as a lending officer assistant at a bank. This is getting old, I am ready to just do this already. It has been a long stressful process.
Well time to make myself useful and get on ChaCha. It is slow going, they pay peanuts. I really want to get Joe a small gift for his birthday in November and I want to give Leo a decent Christmas. & he desperately needs pants and winter clothes. I have slowly been finding things at thrift stores and second hand sales, so he has a few things. But only three pairs of pants, which he could go through in one day. He is a messy kid.
