in labor????
Contractions are keeping me up. They are pretty painful. I just want to sleep :(
I've noticed that I get more of them when I'm laying down, so I tried sitting up with a heating pad against my back for awhile. That didn't help. I was hungry, so I came downstairs to eat and to see if that change of positioning would help. Nope, they're still coming. I should be timing them, but I just want to sleep. I suppose I'll time them for a little while then try to go back to sleep. It snowed quite a bit last night, so hopefully we will be able to get out of the driveway if we have to.
So right now they're 8 minutes apart and too damn mind numbing to notice how long they last. I'm already having to breath through them. This stupid cough doesn't help. I don't know how any woman can be strong enough to reject an epidural. I could never lay there in such agony with the possibility for someone to easily take it away. I suppose I just don't get the point of going natural. If I did, maybe I could do it. I know about the risks and all of that nice stuff, but to me it's worth taking.
I shouldn't be watching the clock waiting for a contraction or else I'll probably will myself into it. I'm just sitting here dreading the next one though. Blah, there it was, 8 minutes after the last one like clockwork. Lasting apprx. one minute. & a fourth one, 8 minutes. This may be it. My legs are shaking :( Okay so I just had one that was six minutes after the last. 8 minutes. 7 minutes. 7 minutes. Ahhh! I'm going to get in bed and cuddle with Ron.
