Last year I only got to about 10,000, but the Melbourne NaNoWriMo group have drinks every week, all year round!

I think in previous years, I have maybe got to 50,000 4 times? Or maybe 3. I can't quite remember.

I'm already part-way through writing something novel-length, so I couldn't really claim that for Nano without cheating, and I don't think I could get my brain into gear for any other story right now =S

Yeah fair enough. :) Btw, I can't believe you've written three chapters already. Bloody hell. Have you got it all mapped out?

The chapters so far have been incredibly short =S It is all mapped out, and has been for some time, it's just a matter of forcing myself to write!

Awesomesauce :) Are you going to write a sequel to last years, or have you got another one planned out?

I've thought about it but I know it takes up loads of time and I'm not sure I've got it this year! (Excuses, excuses...)

I may well do! As I have no current ideas, the resulting 50,000 words might consist of numerous cycles of plot lulls and ninjas attacking.
