And now for the less happy rantage:
Today I realised that after leaving university* people may well have
in excess of £40,000 debt. Which would be financially crippling enough to ensure that we're not able to afford the ridiculous expensive housing in this country until we reach the age at which the mortgage would overlap with my retirement, making it even more costly and probably ensuring poverty throughout retirement. If we even get to retire.
That's not even mentioning the possibility of the debt encroaching upon the age at which people have children.
Something has to give. This country is a shambles, with the kids stabbing and murdering people, the justice system falling apart,
people who deserve the death penalty haunting our kids childhoods, no jobs, no cheap public transport, overpriced housing, the rich getting richer while everyone else gets poorer... everything is just KAK. Something has to change.
