That was the first song I ever listened to by Ani DiFranco. Of course, I can only thank Meghan for that - she got me hooked on her way back in 2002. I need to find more songs from her, and possibly buy her albums.
A friend of mine from ICT died on Friday night. She had a benign brain tumor, but I don't know how benign it was considering that it led to a massive seizure in which she ultimately stopped breathing. Rest in peace, Kali.
There are only 8 weeks left of pregnancy. Well, 8 weeks and 1 day. I'm so excited... I actually have a pregnancy countdown on my MySpace page (located here.) I actually did a lot of tweaking to my page, removing a lot of content from it. Don't know why. I guess I hated it being cluttered up like so. I want to be able to move things around or resize things (like my Details box... I wouldn't mind being able to make that a bit smaller and having a scroll bar option in it...) but it doesn't appear to be happening. Sigh. Oh well. I should probably update my webpage, too. I haven't done that in forever. I can't wait until I get my computer running again. By the way, if anyone wants to give me one, I wouldn't be offended. Or a laptop. Laptops are good.
My wife is doing pretty good despite being tired all the time and in pain. Sucks when you have a hernia and you're pregnant. But not much can be done about that. Amanda's waiting for the baby to be born so she can stop feeling so tired and achy all the time. I don't blame her. But she still has that 8 weeks left...
I'm still waiting to hear from the security job. It seems they lost my background information, so they have to resubmit it and send it back to Robert, which they say he'll have by Friday. I think background checks and I don't get along. I never did hear back from Dollar General, and it's been two months since they said they were going to do a background check on me. That sucks. Oh well. I still have the State Certification class on Tuesday, and they are paying for it, so I'm good in that aspect. I can't wait... I'm so excited about this job.
