Feels Like Friday
I haven't updated a for a while...
Yesterday, school was alright, nothing unusual or worth telling about there. After school, I rushed through homework so I wouldn't have any when I got back from Steve's house. Afterward I just waited around, and then at about 4:45, I walked out into the kitchen and asked my mom when we were gonna leave.
Me: "So... We leaving for Steve's soon?"
Mom: "You have to be there by... What was it... 6:30?"
Me: "5:30."
Mom: "Oops."
Me: "Oops what?"
Mom: "I have the meatloaf in the oven. It won't be ton til 6:00."
So yeah... I called Steve to let him know I was gonna be late (actually, about fitten minutes later my mom decided she could just leave the meatloaf and finish it afterward, so we left at about 5:45).
And we would've been there on time, had I not read the directions wrong. We kept driving up and down another road off of his street, until I realized that we had skipped a street. Then when we finally arrived on his street, we were driving down looking for his house, when out of nowhere something started walking out into the road, and I yelled at my mom, "Stop...There's a dude!"
That 'dude' so happened to be Steve. It was pretty funny.
So my mom dropped me off, after spending a few minutes to meet Steve and his family.
.... I'll have to finish this later.
