A Visit to the Canals
So Thanksgiving turned out to be a bust - my parents were supposed to meet at my place in Venice (my dad coming from Camarillo and my mom coming from City of Industry) but they were both sick so dinner was postponed. Right around the time I was starting to feel sorry for myself, I decided to get off my ass and take a walk. It was a beautiful day so I wandered around the canals and got some great pictures. And I still had a nice meal of roasted acorn squash and home made bread.
