WINTER LINE FIRST PLACE SUCKA.
Maaaaaaaaaaann Round Rock was AWESOME! I can't believe how quick we learned the 4th movement and it wasn't half bad when we performed it ohhh man that was one of the best performances i've ever given it was so. much. fun. We were all sitting in the bleachers with the other drumlines that came to compete, and all the captains were on the floor. They announced the 4th place school (Smithson Valley) and Celeste squeezed my arm more cause we all had our arms linked up we were so nervous. Then came 3rd...and Celeste squeezed even harder and we were all leaning forward...then 2nd...then we were like, "No way....."
"Placing first in the AA category with a score of [insert our score here]....John Jay High School."
Oh man we jumped up and Britt picked me up and spun me around and we high fived and threw dueces and yelled at Dana, Oscar and Ben who were on the floor. We all ran down to the lower level and took a million pictures with the trophy. CHAMPIONSHIPS APRIL FIRST SUCKA.
Oh, and the way home brought David's revenge!
